Skoda has released a teaser video showcasing the first details of the exterior design of the upcoming concept study for a new estate car. The video reveals an evolution of the Modern Solid design language and highlights the focus on aerodynamics and bold lines in the Vision O concept.
The exterior of the Vision O features slim, T-shaped taillights and a sloping roof, which are elements that will characterize future Skoda estate models. This concept signifies Skoda’s commitment to leading the European estate car segment and boldly charting a new path for future models.
Oliver Stefani, Head of Skoda Design, explains, „With the Vision O, we are evolving our Modern Solid design language, increasing its emotional appeal, and refining our brand identity. The new design concept also underscores our commitment to pushing boundaries and continuously bringing innovations to future car designs. Clear lines emphasize simplicity and show that we remain true to our brand values. The Vision O is extremely practical for everyday use and surprises with thoughtful details.“
The video teaser unveils a new B-pillar design seamlessly blending into the rear of the car. The sloping roof with a split roof spoiler leads to slim taillights forming a characteristic T-shape, reminiscent of the typical ‚four-eye‘ lighting motif. The Skoda logo and the model name ‚Vision O‘ on the tailgate complement the design of the rear bumper, emphasizing the unique, modern exterior design of the study.
The world premiere of the Skoda Vision O design study, offering a glimpse into the future of Skoda in the estate car segment, will take place on September 8, 2025, in Munich. The presentation will also be available online for all viewers through Skoda’s YouTube channels.
