Desay Battery, a global leader in energy storage solutions, showcased its innovations at the Smarter E Europe 2025 Exhibition in Germany, Europe’s largest energy industry trade fair, held in Munich from May 7 to 9.
During the event, Desay Battery introduced its new Battery UPS 2.0. This innovative solution is specifically designed for data center operators, IT departments of large companies, network and communication service providers, and many others. Its compatibility with existing systems and adherence to strict safety and environmental standards highlight its versatility. The UPS 2.0 features a single lithium-ion housing supporting 300 kVA and designed for a lifespan of up to 15 years, effectively reducing project costs. Additionally, the intelligent monitoring system allows real-time battery status tracking and predictive maintenance, while active security management is enhanced through optional fire detection and access to a cloud-based security network management platform.
Following the introduction of UPS 2.0, Desay Battery signed a strategic agreement with TÜV Rheinland to accelerate its expansion in the European market. This includes EU certification for UPS 2.0 (49 kWh, 8C) and the 5 MWh energy storage container. The company also entered into a 2 GW partnership with DOS Primärenergie Sonne GmbH (DOS) to enhance collaboration in renewable energy markets in the Middle East and Latin America. These partnerships strengthen Desay’s position in the global energy storage supply chain while creating a model for energy transition in the Gulf States. These strategic moves underscore Desay’s commitment to international market development and sustainable energy solutions through technological innovation and cross-border partnerships.
Desay Battery is also showcasing a range of outstanding products at the Smarter E Europe 2025, including high-performance lithium-ion cells (DLP-100, DLP-280, DLP-314), the sodium-ion battery DSP-60, and modular energy storage systems with 100 Ah and 280 Ah lithium modules. Other highlights include the energy storage cabinets Lumos 215 kWh and 344 kWh C38I DC ESS, 10-25 kWh LV Residential ESS, 21 kWh HV DCDC Residential ESS (280 Ah), and the liquid-cooled container storage system Vita 5 MWh Utility ESS along with UPS battery cabinets.
Desay Battery was recently included in the BloombergNEF Energy Storage Tier 1 List for Q2 2025. Looking ahead, Desay Battery plans to further expand its presence in the global energy storage market and continue investing in research and development to meet the growing demand for clean energy.
